What are STCs?

As part of Australia’s Renewable Energy Target, solar credits are available as a discount on your solar system installation. For residential solar, these are called Small-scale technology certificates (STCs).

When we provide a quote for your solar solution, we calculate the number of STCs you’re eligible for. This calculation is based on where you live, the type of system, and the date of installation.

The STCs are clearly stated on your quote and act as a subsidy or discount on your system. Another great reason to install solar.
